We chose the opposite.
Our formulations begin with a simple question: what does skin truly need to function well?
The answer is fewer, better ingredients prepared with care.
Thoughtful sourcing and preparation
Every ingredient is selected for compatibility, purity, and purpose.
Our tallow comes from grass-fed, regeneratively raised cattle sourced from Gippsland Victoria, supporting ethical farming and sustainable practices.
We clean the suet by hand, grind it ourselves and melt it gently in order to produce our final product. By being in control of the process from beginning to end, we can ensure consistency in our tallow.
Slow herbal infusions
Many conventional skincare products rely on essential oils for fragrance and marketing appeal, but these highly concentrated plant extracts can be surprisingly harsh on the skin.
Essential oils contain potent volatile compounds that can disrupt the skin barrier, trigger irritation, increase sensitivity, and in some cases lead to allergic reactions or long-term sensitisation — especially with repeated use.
While they come from plants, their intensity means they are not always the most skin-friendly choice, particularly for sensitive or compromised skin.
In contrast, gentle herbal infusions offer the benefits of plants in a far more balanced and supportive way. By slowly infusing whole herbs into nourishing oils, the skin receives soothing plant compounds, antioxidants, and nutrients without the harshness of concentrated aromatics. This allows the skin to be supported and restored naturally, rather than overstimulated.

Small-batch production allows us to give each formula the time and attention it deserves. Rather than producing large volumes that sit on shelves for extended periods, we create smaller quantities more frequently, ensuring every jar is as fresh and active as possible.
This slower, more intentional approach also allows us to maintain strict quality control at every step — from ingredient selection to the final pour. The result is skincare that is carefully crafted, thoughtfully prepared, and made with a level of care that simply isn’t possible in large-scale manufacturing.
For us, it's personal
For us, this work is deeply personal. Every step happens in-house — from formulation and making the products, to pouring, jarring, labeling, packing, and shipping each order. We don’t outsource to manufacturers, fulfillment centers, or third-party logistics companies. There are no middlemen between us and the products you receive.
Keeping everything under our own roof allows us to stay closely connected to every detail of the process. It means we know exactly what goes into each product, how it’s made, and the care that goes into preparing every order.
When you receive a package from us, it has quite literally passed through our own hands from start to finish.
